I started my career EMAP publishing, followed by 25 years of trade shows. After some years at the Plc’s: Blenheim, Tarsus & Co, I started my own trade show organiser in 2002.  After going bust first innings, I went on to launch, build and sell four trade show businesses, the last being Nineteen Events Ltd, sold to Phoenix Equity Partners in Nov 2018.

Since, Nineteen has grown through organic, launching and acquiring to become the fastest growing business in this sector, with 21 major-scale shows, plus digital publishing, and nearly 200 incredible people, based London, HK and Singapore HQs, enabled by strong culture. Sep 2024 we completed a Continuation Fund, taking Nineteen into its next round, Season II, backed by new investors Kline Hill and Ares Landmark, whilst remaining with partners Phoenix Equity alongside us.
