Joy Hurrell

Joy has a BSc in International Event Management. She has been organising events for 5+ years. Most recently, this included being part of the organising team for the 18th annual Drug Discovery conference for 3 000 delegates at ExCeL London. Other experience comprises themed parties, on-campus events, her school’s prom, virtual events and charity galas. This year, Joy was nominated by the University of Surrey for the UK’s AEME ‘Student of the Year’ award.

This is the second time Joy joins a panel at the Women In Exhibitions World Summit. She will bring an early career perspective, and her passion for inclusivity and sustainability in the conference and events space.
