Career:

Eva started her career in the travel industry working as a Manager/Director for Thomas Cook and American Express Business Travel. After 6 years abroad in Ghana and Malta as an expatriate and family time, she started working for Messe Frankfurt visitor services in 2006.

After different roles and accompanying various projects within the visitor service team she became a Team leader in 2010. Being a single parent of two boys and working fulltime, she started to study business economy which she successfully completed in 2013. In 2014 she joined the Messe Frankfurt inhouse consulting team as a Senior Project manager Business Process Management leading several process and efficiency projects within the company. During that time, she also led projects in the guest events department and was promoted as Director Sales & Marketing Guest Events in 2020 – in the middle of the pandemic.

Eva leads a team of 14 passionate Sales and Marketing Managers. She is always interested in everything related to improving customer service as well as developing topics that support the customers/potential customers of Messe Frankfurt Locations.

Her team is in charge of marketing and acquisition focusing on organisers as well as for contracting the up to 250 guest events every year – whether it is concerts, events, congresses or guest trade shows.

Born in Frankfurt am Main she is always on the road as a fan and an ambassador to inspire people for the destination and the locations of Messe Frankfurt. Since 2023 she is part of the board of Women in Exhibitions DACH region. Her aim is to encourage women to be brave and trust in their power and abilities as well to sensitize German companies to increase diversity.
